This site sets no cookies, advertising or otherwise. Here is what it remembers in your browser, and how it counts visits.

1. What the site remembers
Cookies are small notes a website leaves in your browser. Local storage is the same idea, kept in the browser and not sent with each request.
If you switch prices between including and excluding VAT on a comparison page, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage, so the next page matches. It stays in your browser, isn’t sent to us, and lasts until you clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings.
2. Counting visits
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, to see which pages are read and whether the site works. It records the page, where you came from, your country or region, and your browser and device type. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Vercel counts a visitor once with a scrambled code that it discards after 24 hours, and keeps the counts for 12 months. It can’t identify you. The pages tradespeople send their customers are served by the app, not this site, and aren’t counted here.
You can switch the counting off, free, with one tap:
Your choice stays in your browser until you clear this site’s data, so it applies to this browser only. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
