What sole traders ask
Do I have to set anything up first?
No. It asks your name, and anything else when it first needs it: your business name the first time a quote goes out, your bank details the first time an invoice does. Customers are saved as you mention them, and your logo and colour can wait until you want them.
Will it understand me?
Say it the way you’d say it on site: “Quote Mrs Jones for the board, £650.” Type it or say it. Tools Down shows you the quote or invoice it made, and you share it when you’re happy.
Can it get things wrong?
Yes, the way anyone taking a message on a busy day can. So it shows its work: everything it makes or changes comes back as a card you can open and check, with Undo. Quotes and invoices are drafts until you send them. When two customers could be the one you meant, it asks which. When it can’t find something it says so rather than guess, and it won’t state a regulation, a tax position or a price as fact: signing off the work stays with you.
