01Say it once

Filed as you go. No folders, no forms.

Send photos with a word about them and they’re filed on the job that message is about. Add a note the same way: “Mrs Jones wants the sockets in brushed steel.” Notes are added to, never written over.

Extras go on the job the day they’re agreed (“Add a socket for £80 to Patel’s job”), so they’re on the invoice at the end. A photo of a receipt becomes an expense instead.
